Battle of the Bands??

I just came back from some band concert held at Bangkok Jazz. This is also the first time to Bangkok Jazz. Hehe. Guitar Store and Music School (if i'm not mistaken) organized a battle of the band concert where students and teachers from both institute get their chance to perform live in front of the audience. In my opinion, some are really good while some are just so-so. But no matter how terrible their voices are, for me they are still good because they are brave enough to perform in front of so many people. *clap clap clap* No photographs though because that place was quite dark. Hehe.

Anyway, my past few weeks had been really... normal I should say. Go to work, come back, eat, sleep, go to work, come back, eat, sleep and the process continues on weekdays. While on weekend, Saturday is Kitt's day while Sunday is my family day. But next week, I'll be only working on Monday and Tuesday because early Wednesday morning i'll be going to Macau and Hong Kong with my mum and my 2 cousins!!! Yippie!! We'll be visiting Disneyland too. I'm so excited. This trip is my birthday present from my mum. So thank you mummy. Dad gave me money for shopping in Hong Kong. YAY!!!! Thanks dad. I'm so excited!!! Too bad Kitt can't join us because he have to attend lectures and his Final Year Projects. Aihhhh.... Guess I'll have to babysit my 2 naughty cousins alone. Hope they will not get any scolding from me ( i doubt that) Hehe.

In just that one month, I realised relationship especially the bf-gf one can be really ...... I don't have a word for it. Lies, betrayal, trust, care and LOVE are the key ingredient in what I have observed all this while. They are some that seemed to be "trying out" a lot of options but then it might not seemed to be fair if you are trying out a lot at the same time. It's like the survival test. But hey, the last one standing might not be the ideal one. So Miss P, please think carefully and don't play with fire. You might lose everything in the end. Besides that, lies and betrayal. I hate liars. I really do. I guess a lot of my friends will agree with me too. They are some skillful liars out there that can tell a lie without feeling guilty. Seriously, you don't have my respect anymore even though you are not telling that lie to me. Who knows whatever that is coming out from your mouth when we're talking is the truth or lie? I just don't trust you as much as I do anymore.

But hey, different people will see LOVE in different type of ways. No matter what, I will always hope that those that I really care will be happy in their relationship (current or future). Those who are currently attached, congratulations. For those who are currently single, Gambateh. Your ideal guy/girl is still out there waiting for you. They might be people around you *hint hint hint to Miss PS* Hehe... For those who are still experimenting, I hope that you hypothesis will be accepted in the end and not rejected. Haha....

Gosh... why does my entry sounds so emo. I wonder what is wrong with me this month. Haha....

My 21st Birthday Party

Kitt and my close friends held a birthday party for me. My birthday was on 4th of November but the party was held on 3rd of November. I know there will be a party but I have no idea who will show up. Conclusion: The number of people that show up doesn't matter, what matter is the people who came. I'm really grateful that I was blessed with great company on my birthday eve. Less talk, more photo... hehe.

My first surprise.... 100 colourful balloons to replace the old fashion 100 flowers. Hehe. This is a present from Kitt. It's so sweet. I was in tears when he drove his bro's car and honking. It was very beautiful. This is way better than flowers. Hehe. Thank you.

My second surprise.... My friends from Malacca came to the party. As I have mentioned earlier, I have no idea who will be attending the party. But I never expect them to come. Really thank them a lot for coming especially Chau Yen and his gf. Chau Yen have to drive all the way back to Malacca at 12 something in the morning after the party while my kai kor and Tau Hong drove back to Cyberjaya. Hehe. Thank you very much.

My birthday cake. The cake was chocolate cake decorated with strawberries. Hehe. The cake was very very nice. It was present from Kinn and Ken, Kitt's younger bros. Thank you very much guys. According to aunty, the cake was made of some imported chocolate, which is quite expensive. The cake was really good. Hehe. Happy happy.

These are the people that showed up at my party. Thank you very much for coming and thank you very very much for Kitt, the party Chairperson and Wai Leng, the Vice-Chairperson. Hehe. Both of you did a great job about the guest list. I thought only 7 ppl will show up but... look at the crowd. Thank you!!!! Jullian was stuck in a 2 hour jam before he reach the party. He sent one of my friend home in Setapak before going back to Puchong. Thank you very much Jullian. I owe you.

This is what my room looks like on 4th November. I gave everyone one balloon when they leave. Some took a few. I brought home the rest. Hehe. No place to walk around my room now. Hehe.

I can't upload too many photos due to the size of the photographs. I have to resize them in order to speed up the photo uploading process. Hehe. After the party, we played some card games. Keat, Kitt, Alwin, Nicole, PuiC, Mun Keong were drunk. Or maybe "high". Haha. It was so funny. They kept on talking non stop. At 3am, I had to end the party because they are really hard to control. They are very noisy and the dog won't stop barking. Hehe. So I have to "halau" them home. Hehe.

Overall, the party was great. Food was great. Company was greatest. Love you all very much. Thank you very much. Thank you for making my 21st birthday so unforgetable, sweet and happy... especially Kitt and Wai Leng.

Presents? Well, I received quite a number of present.... including my lollipop earrings and necklace. My attire for the night ( shirt-dress, lollipop earring and necklace ) was present from my friends. I look like a lollipop princess that night. Haha. Have to act cute when they took my photo to follow my theme. Hehe. It was hilarious. Can't show too much photos of myself. Hehe.

Training

Mum downgraded our house Streamyx. One month around 40+ hours to online. If we use more than that, we have to pay it. So, no more downloading series, songs or leave the computer online while watching tv downstairs. AIHHHHhhhh.....

Updates:
1. Start working at MUST on Monday. Met Yasha and Yink Heiy (not sure about the spelling) there. Both are really awesome and cool human being. Luckily both of them are the most normal one there. There are "others" who are "unique". Hehe.On our first day, we were sent to Vivantis in Shah Alam to learn how to identify restriction enzyme. The work seems quite simple actually. Just plant the bacteria and run the electrophoresis. We have to do our own experiment back in MUST. We will isolate our bacteria on Monday. Did I mention that last Friday, we didn't have to go work because there was nothing to do? Haha. We were suppose to isolate the bacteria on Friday but then by Monday it will over grow. Hence, we'll do it on Monday. AND it is after lunch on Monday that we start working!! Haha. Awesome! Maybe it's because this is the first week. We finished work everyday around 2 or 3 something. Haha. But we learnt a lot of stuff during that short period.
2. Result was out. All I can say is THANK GOD!
3. Gosipping session with WL continues because my working place with her house is very near. When I finish work early, I will visit her a while and our "session" begins. Hehe.

Grandpa Smell

Does anyone notice how certain older man like grandpa-type has certain smell? It's not bad smell or anything, but if I'm not mistaken, it's the hair gel smell or something like that. Me and dad went to buy food and an uncle walked pass by me. There was a smell coming out from him that reminds me of my grandpa. I think it's the hair gel or hair oil or.... no idea. But I'm sure it has something to do with hair product for men. I turned around to take a good look at that uncle. Indeed his hair was gel-ed nicely, in a "curry puff" way. Hehe. I miss my grandpa.

I went to Semenyih for lunch today. This place was very very very very deep in the ... erm... jungle? They served really good aluminium-foil-wrapped-AFRIKA fish-cooked-on-charcoal. Hehe. I'm not sure if the fish is called Afrika Fish cause I translate it directly from cantonese. Hehe. New fish breed :P Anyway, the fish was great. I loved the one that is wrapped in banana leaf and Tom Yam flavour. Very nice. Then ladies finger cook together with brinjals were superb. But somehow the gravy from the vegetable reminds me of thick saliva. Hehe. I forgot to take photographs of that place and food because I was too hungry. When the food arrived at the table, I just SWALLOWED the food. Hehe. We ordered 6 types of different flavours for the fish, one lamb stew ( or something similar, but the main ingredient was lamb!! ) and 2 plate of vegetables. There were 8 of us and one person have to paid RM15. For me the price was okay since we ordered 6 fishes. I won't mind eating that fish everyday!! Hehe. But like Kitt always says, MODERATION! So, have to wait till another time then.

After that, I went home and asked WL our for ice cream at McD. Suddenly, I have the urge to eat Chocolate Sundae. Hehe. We had this conversation about our close friends and how different people viewed their relationship with the other half differently. Some are loyal and some just love to flirt around. Whatever it is, people do what they think is right and happy for them but in the end, they should be ready for whatever consequences of their action. As long as they are happy, right WL?

I'll collect my new Identification Card tomorrow. Somehow I hate the photo for my new IC because I have to wear the black coat. Sobsob. Really really really....... Now all I can hope is that the photo will come out nice. AIHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Phuket 29/08/07-01/09/07

Hi everyone. Sorry for not updating for a really long time. This entry was more than one month old. I don't have time to blog about this because I was having my final exams for the past few weeks. Hehe. Sorry for neglecting you my dear bloggy.



I went to Phuket one 29/8/2007 and came back on 1/9/2007. Even though the trip was short but I enjoyed the trip very much. This was my second time to Phuket but first time with Kitt. The first time I went to Phuket was a many years ago when I'm still in primary school with my family including my grandparents and aunts. We're on a star cruise trip that time. We only get down from the ship for a few hours. We had our lunch there and visited some temple. This time, we had a 4 days 3 nights trip there. Less crap and more photographs.



1st day-29/8/2007



This is the airport. We booked the 3 something flight. This is me and Kitt's first time to LCCT. When we arrived, we're like tourist. We have no idea where to go. This photograph was taken while we're waiting to board our aeroplane.







This is me and Kitt. I wanted to take a photograph of us with our aeroplane in it while walking!! Kitt took my camera and this is what he caught. Hoho. No aeroplane, can't see our face!! Hehe.

The flight from LCCT to Phuket International Airport took 1.5 hours. The plane was so-so. Typical Air Asia plane. I think the woman sitting in front of me bathe in perfume because I nearly suffocate to death by her smell. SO TERRIBLE!! The guy behind me keep on pushing his leg really hard to my chair making it really hard for me to sit comfortably throughout the flight. Being a spoilt princess, I kept on sulking and complaining to Kitt. Hehe. Pity him. Feeling a bit guilty for disturbing Kitt when he's trying to take a short nap, I disturbed other items on board.




Things you should do when there is an emergency. Hehe. I wonder if there will be enough time to take out this board and follow the instruction. Hehe.

Air Asia Magazine. FEMALE PILOT!! So cool.

Food and beverages on board. Being a big fan of cup noodle, I ordered the vegetarian flavour. Hoho. Wanted to try the so-called Famous Nasi Lemak but then decided not to because scared that it will taste terrible. Hehe.

We arrived at Phuket around 6 something in the evening. We're a bit dissapointed because it was raining. So we took a taxi. On our way out from the airport, the taxi driver asked us if we have booked any hotel and we said no. So he brought us to some.... erm house by the road side that looks like a private tourist centre. The girl there showed us some hotels around Patong Beach area and we choosed the one recommended by her. Then she called the hotel and book the room for us. We went back to our taxi and the driver drove us there. Did I mention that our taxi driver was kind of cute? He's quite young. I think same age as me. Cute and handsome. Hoho. He's a student of Phuket University or something like that. He gave Kitt his name card, in case we need transport back to the airport when we leave, he can send us there. I HAVE HIS NUMBER!!!! Too bad I don't dare to take his photo. Hehe.

We stayed in Palm Beach Resort ( if i'm not mistaken ... hehe). From outside, the hotel is not too attractive. But the room is super comfortable. I never thought that the room could be this beautiful.



After settling down and taking our shower, we went to a restaurant just opposite our hotel for dinner. It was still raining that time, so we bought disposable rain coat and walk along the street. Along the way, there was one handicapped man selling beautiful hand made flowers under the rain. Kitt said we should buy one from him because he is so hardworking even though he is handicapped ( Both of his legs are amputated and he walked with his hands. He put all his flower on a trolley and pushed the trolley as he walk). There are some passer by who really buy his flower. Looking at that guy really made me very sad.




Day 2-30/08/2007

The rain stopped on the next morning. When I pull the curtains, I saw this.....

Empty land left by Tsunami. There is one part where you can still a walking path still attached and the other half is gone. So pitiful. We went to the hotel's restaurant for breakfast. It's a buffet breakfast where you can take a lot of bacon, ham and hotdogs. Haha. After breakfast, we crossed the main road just in front of our hotel and walk along the beach.

McD!!!! My favourite place. Too bad we don't have a chance to eat there. I wondered what are the differences between Thailand's McD and Malaysia's McD.

A place for those who love to club. Hehe.

This is the Patong Beach Hotel. It was very nice. It is located on the beach. We wanted to book here but there are no rooms available. Too bad.

Notice the blue sign by the beach? It actually tells you where is the nearest evacuation route when there is a Tsunami.

The street in the morning. The shops will open around 11 something in the morning till late at night, selling clothes, bags, bikinis, souveniers, massage services etc. Mostly are pirated stuff but quite cheap.

The only Japanese restaurant along the street. There is a lift that will bring you to the first floor.

There are a lot of private taxy driver that can offer their service to show you around the island for one day. Just remember to bargain for the price. Hehe. We hired a man called Charlie to show us around. He is a very nice guy. He helped us booked one tour at Khai Island for a really low price because his friend owns the travel agency. Hehe. He brought us to visit elephants. According to him, it's a must for tourist because elephants bring good luck for those who touched them. Guess what, me and Kitt ride on one of the elephant. Great experience!!

Charlie brought us to a restaurant near a fishing village where the seafoods are great and cheap. Hehe.

After lunch, he brought us to a pearl showroom where we found this...

After that, he brought us for a quick stop at the cashew nuts factory. We're not a big fan of nuts but have you ever heard of cashew nut drinks? EWWWWW.... taste a bit ... funny. Hehe.

After that, we head back to our hotel because I'm tired. Hehe.

Before dinner, Kitt went for foot massage. Hehe. I didn't go for it because I'm not used to massage by human hand because it will be very ticklish. I can only stand the massage chair at home. Hehe. Furthermore, it is foot massage. That will be super ticklish. Hehe. But Kitt said it's very very comforatble. That night, we had this for dinner......

Half lobster for each person. THE LOBSTER IS VERY VERY BIG!!! NICE!!!!

After dinner, we walk along.... one street name which I forgot what the name is. Hehe. There are a lot of bars along the street. "Beautiful girls" are dancing at the bar top and shaking their boobs and butts in front of the customer. SEXY!!!

Me ( real boobs and butts ) with 3 pretty "ladies" (surgically implanted boobs and not-so-sexy butt) Hehe. I like the girl in pink. She is really really very pretty and tall.

By the way, if you happen to walk on this street and you saw girls asking you to take photo with them, DO NOT TAKE WITH THEM, unless you are willing to pay 100Baht for each girl that took photo with you. It is really expensive. RM10 for taking photo with fake boobs and butts ....... way too expensive. In the end, Kitt gave them 110bath to share among 3 girls. Haha. After paying them, Kitt took my hand and walked away. Haha.

More bars. Actually they are a lot of gay bars and tiger show but we didn't enter any of those because I'M TERRIFIED OF AH KUASSSSS. They are quite scary.

There are 2 places where you can watch Thai boxing too. We didn't watch because I'm not a big fan of violent stuff. Hehe.

Day 3- 31/08/2007

MERDEKA!! MERDEKA!! But we're still in Phuket. Hehe. We went to Khai island for snorkelling.

The island is very beautiful. But you have to rent the beach chairs from them. 120Baht for 2 chairs. Quite expensive actually.

We sneaked some bread from the hotel and fed the fishes. Hehe.

After that, we head back to our hotel and shop for souveniers till night. Hehe. We went to Jungceylon, a new shopping centre there. Hehe. They have normal branded stuff like Nike, Adidas, Quiksilver, Roxy, Billabong ( mostly sports and beach brands ). If we convert the price to RM, it is actually quite similar.

Day4-01/09/2007

This is our last day here. We went for last minute shopping for souveniers and stuff for Kitt's mum. Kitt bought some shirt for himself and his buddies. Hehe. Our flight home was 12 something in the afternoon, so we don't have much time to do anything else on that day.

Overall, the trip was very nice. I like the people there. They are very friendly and they always smile to you when you look at them. The only thing that I don't like is everything needs money. Sit on the beach chair for a while, you have to pay. Take photo with ah kua, you have to pay. Maybe I just don't understand the business world. Hehe.

Actually there are a lot of photographs that I didn't upload because it need a lot of time. Hehe.

My holiday starts now. YIPPIE!! But I will go for industrial training starting from 22nd October. Hehe. Hope that it will be fun.
