Happy B'Day

Weekend was filled with food session again cause 2 poh and 2 kong came to KL to visit their children. They wanted to have the barbequed pork at Jalan Tung Shin but when we reached there, they were not open for business on that day. Maybe it's because the next day is Mooncake Festival. Dissapointed, we went to another restaurant at Pudu for.....

Roast duck and goose. We had roast goose that time. The first time I had roast goose was at Hong Kong and it was really really good. I still prefer the one in Hong Kong. Hehe. But this restaurant is really famous. A few newspaper had featured this restaurant in the news before. Hehe. The roast goose was really nice, just too much fat. Hehe.

On the next day, we went to Overseas Restaurant for dinner with William and his kai ma. It was her birthday celebration. Food was okay. The good thing was the food was served while it is still freaking hot. Good job. Haha. No pictures because William took pictures that night. Will wait for him to upload. Haha. Lazy me :p

Monday was the most tiring day of my life. In the evening, I have to go send mummy from her office to Plaza Damas for her massage appointment. Then it was 1 hour jam from Sri Hartamas till home. So boring sitting in the car. Luckily I brought Baby along and she entertained me a bit in the car. Hehe. Sayang Baby.

When I reached home, it was already 7.30. I rushed up to change and go out again. Fetch Ken and straight "fly" to Semenyih. Was in a hurry that night for...

Kitt-y's birthday surprise!!! Well not a surprise cause he found out when he picked up Lauren's call. Aihh... but it was fun. It was initially a house warming party for him and his friends but I suggested to celebrate his birthday together cause there will be more friends on that day. Ken-y brought me to this place that sells really pretty cupcakes. Hehe.

You can choose the design, size of the cupcakes and wordings that you want to put in. It's really pretty. Had a tough time choosing the design and ended up with this. Apple, trees and love :) *shy*. Hope that he likes it. Had 1 cupcake before I leave and it was really good. Way better than my expectation :p

Rushed home again to study because the next day in Nuclear Medicine paper. Studied and sleep and study and sleep and study and sleep and study the whole night. I was really tired till it's difficult to keep my eyes open the entire night. This morning, woke up early and drove to uni. Still have some time for quick review of the notes while Sai Weng....
Sleep just right beside me. So envy that he can sleep. So I "decorated" him with my driving companion found in the car. Haha. Cute right? Boi boi looks like as he was kissing Sai Weng. HAHAHAHA!!!

It's the fasting month for the Malays. Sometimes, it really freaks me out when suddenly in the middle of the night you can smell food. SCARY!!!!

Got to go now. Have to start Virology.

Baby's Birthday

ChuanGuan: Aiyo, I forgot to take photos of the food. Will take it next time!! Haha.

Last Saturday was my first time going to Sky Bar. It was Mervyn's birthday. He's my sister friend. My sister asked if I wanted to go along. Since I've heard a lot about Sky Bar and Luna Bar but never been there before, I said ya ya ya ya. Haha. After dinner at Tsim Tung, we went to Sky Bar. The parking system is a bit weird though. Hehe. When we reached, we were told to wait a while to be seated. When I look out of the window, this is the only thing I saw....

KLCC!!! Haha.

After 5 minutes, we were told that actually there were no more tables that could fit 10 or more people because:
1. There's a private function inside and most of the tables are occupied.
2. There were some tables at the side but those were reserved 3 WEEKS EARLIER!!!

Hence, we left Sky Bar. There goes my first time at Sky Bar. Haha. After that, they discussed about where to go. Poppy or Loft. Loft won!! When we reached The Loft, I forgot what happened, we ended up in Cynna. Haha. That place was so-so only. Not much leng chai. Haha. Maison is still the place that is filled with leng chaissss, right WL? Hahaha. Had a couple of drinks that night but unfortunately me and my sis have to go home early... Haizz....

The next day, sis wanted to get a new hair cut so I offered to accompany her. She said the saloon that she love opened a new outlet just opposite UTAR PJ. They have some promotion, so she wanted to go there. Haha. Before hair therapy, we went to have breakfast at Old Town as both of us had this sudden craving for Nasi Lemak. The Old Town outlet at Jaya One was quite good actually. The food tasted quite good, compared to the one in Pandan Indah. I know, all of them serve the same food and all of the food are cook the same way but then sometimes not are tasty okay. Not all McD outlets served tasty nuggets, okay. Some claimed that the KFC in Sg Wang served the best fried chicken. Haha. Have to try it for yourself to verify though.

After brunch, we went for our hair pampering session. Haha. Since my hair is short, so I went for the SOS treatment. I love their shampoo smell. Very nice and last for many days. I forgot to ask them what is the brand. Anyway, although this saloon is pricey but then they use really good hair products. Don't play play!! My hairstylist, Tom, suggested a small hair cut for me so that there are some style on it instead of the straight cut. After much discussion with Tom and sis, I agreed to do so. Haha. So.... I cut my hair again. Hohoho. It's a little bit shorter this time. And I got the fringe that I wanted for a really long time. But somehow, I felt that it's a bit weird. Maybe still new. Just live with it then!! Hehe.

Yesterday, 4th of August was Baby's birthday. My precious baby dog. Even though she's 4 years old, she's still a puppy in my heart. Awww.... Was having lecture yesterday when suddenly I pressed my phone to see the date, 4th of August!!! Baby's birthday!!! Hehe. When I met up with Kitt after lecture, I told him and all he said was "Baby wanted to spend her birthday with me, so she's staying with me tonight". Lame excuse. Haha. It's hard to believe that this little puppy has been staying with me for 4 years. Even though she sleeps most of the time when I'm studying, it is still consider as accompanying me okay. Hehe. Even though she wants all your attention and loves to eat, she's still the cutest dog on earth!!! Most charming and understanding and caring and wonderful dog on earth. I bet you want to marry my dog, right right right?? Haha.

Happy birthday once again to Princess Baby. Haha.

My 21st Birthday Party

Kitt and my close friends held a birthday party for me. My birthday was on 4th of November but the party was held on 3rd of November. I know there will be a party but I have no idea who will show up. Conclusion: The number of people that show up doesn't matter, what matter is the people who came. I'm really grateful that I was blessed with great company on my birthday eve. Less talk, more photo... hehe.

My first surprise.... 100 colourful balloons to replace the old fashion 100 flowers. Hehe. This is a present from Kitt. It's so sweet. I was in tears when he drove his bro's car and honking. It was very beautiful. This is way better than flowers. Hehe. Thank you.

My second surprise.... My friends from Malacca came to the party. As I have mentioned earlier, I have no idea who will be attending the party. But I never expect them to come. Really thank them a lot for coming especially Chau Yen and his gf. Chau Yen have to drive all the way back to Malacca at 12 something in the morning after the party while my kai kor and Tau Hong drove back to Cyberjaya. Hehe. Thank you very much.

My birthday cake. The cake was chocolate cake decorated with strawberries. Hehe. The cake was very very nice. It was present from Kinn and Ken, Kitt's younger bros. Thank you very much guys. According to aunty, the cake was made of some imported chocolate, which is quite expensive. The cake was really good. Hehe. Happy happy.

These are the people that showed up at my party. Thank you very much for coming and thank you very very much for Kitt, the party Chairperson and Wai Leng, the Vice-Chairperson. Hehe. Both of you did a great job about the guest list. I thought only 7 ppl will show up but... look at the crowd. Thank you!!!! Jullian was stuck in a 2 hour jam before he reach the party. He sent one of my friend home in Setapak before going back to Puchong. Thank you very much Jullian. I owe you.

This is what my room looks like on 4th November. I gave everyone one balloon when they leave. Some took a few. I brought home the rest. Hehe. No place to walk around my room now. Hehe.

I can't upload too many photos due to the size of the photographs. I have to resize them in order to speed up the photo uploading process. Hehe. After the party, we played some card games. Keat, Kitt, Alwin, Nicole, PuiC, Mun Keong were drunk. Or maybe "high". Haha. It was so funny. They kept on talking non stop. At 3am, I had to end the party because they are really hard to control. They are very noisy and the dog won't stop barking. Hehe. So I have to "halau" them home. Hehe.

Overall, the party was great. Food was great. Company was greatest. Love you all very much. Thank you very much. Thank you for making my 21st birthday so unforgetable, sweet and happy... especially Kitt and Wai Leng.

Presents? Well, I received quite a number of present.... including my lollipop earrings and necklace. My attire for the night ( shirt-dress, lollipop earring and necklace ) was present from my friends. I look like a lollipop princess that night. Haha. Have to act cute when they took my photo to follow my theme. Hehe. It was hilarious. Can't show too much photos of myself. Hehe.

I think that's all for my 21st birthday........... LOVE YOU ALL!!!! FOREVER AND EVER, KITT!!!!! MUACKS!!!!

Yeannie's Birthday

This post was supposed to be for the beginning of the week but I totally forgot about it. Hehe. It's the end of the week now. Sorry!! It was Yeannie's 2xnd birthday on 20th August. During our break time, we went out for lunch and celebrated her birthday with her. We went to Carrefour for .........

DOMINO'S!!! Yeannie ordered 2 large pizzas and BBQ chicken wings. Hehe. The pizza was okay but the chicken wings tasted a bit weird. Maybe it's because of the sauce. Hoho. Then....

Birthday cake for the birthday girl. The sight of strawberries made me very excited!! Since I was introduced to Chocolate Fondue from Fondue House and Shangri La's Japanese buffet ( where they have a mountain of fresh strawberries ), I craved for strawberry every single day. Hehe.

Yeannie with her birthday cake.

"I wish for world peace". Haha. So Miss-Universe style. But I wondered what was her birthday wish this year. Hehe.

"Hmmm, how should I cut the cake?"

"Cut it from the left side"
"Stab it on the right side"

That girl in black is Pooi San. She is Yeannie's best friend. I think they knew each other for quite a long time. They are my cousin's ex classmate from Ipoh. Small world right? Hehe. Anyway, Pooi San save the cake from Yeannie. Hehe.

Yeannie's birthday present. A zipped folder. So NICE!! It reminds me of my pink zipped folder. I keep it in my cupboard. Don't dare to use it because it is turning black. Sob sob. Should bought one black one instead. But I love my pink one very much. Hoho.

Group photo. Daniel is reminding me of my Prom night's hair do. Hehe. From left standing: Daniel, Yeannie, Pooi San, Vincent, Sai Went and Me.

That is all the photograph that I have. Hehe.

Next week will be the last week of lectures. Friday will be Malaysia's 50th birthday. Hehe. Old edi. The following week will be study week where I have to rush and finish all my revision. I CAN DO IT!!! USH!!!

MUST ( Malaysia University of Science and Technology ) accepted me and my friends for industrial training. YAY!!! Excited about it. Wondering what "experience" we will get from there. Hehe. Rachel and KF are going to NUS, Singapore. Hehe. Hope they have a great time there.

Got to stop now. Study, study and study!!

Paul's Birthday

3rd of August was Paul's 22nd birthday. We celebrated his birthday on 6th of August during our lunch break. We went to an Indian restaurant which serves rice on banana leaf. We have been here for quite a number of times for our Indian friend's birthday because all of us can eat here.

This restaurant is located in Brickfields. Since this is the only Indian restaurant that I had been to that serves food on banana leaf, I can't compare it with other restaurants. The food was great. Too bad they didn't serve lady fingers that day. It was one of my favourite dishes.

We went upstairs this time because there were no more tables downstairs. It is more comfortable up there because it was air conditioned. There was this big lion that was standing near the door looking out of the window. I forgot to ask Loga or Sara what does the lion symbolizes.

Waiting for others. These guys can be really slow motion. They can delay, delay, delay, delay. Even us girls are more punctual then them. Hehe.

Shri feeding Loga with one of the cherry. SO GAY! Hehe.

Since we are in a banana leaf restaurant, we just put our cake on top of the banana leaf. Hehe. First time eating cake this way. Luckily the cake didn't absorb the banana leaf smell.

This is how the food looks like. It was vegetarian, so all of it are vegetables. The good thing is you can refill as much as you want and the price is RM 3.80 per person. Indian-vegetarian-buffet. Hehe. They serve chicken curry, mutton and fish as well but you have to pay extra money for that.

When a person is done eating, he/she have to fold the banana leaf. If you like that place and will come back for more, fold it towards you ( shown in the photograph ). If you don't like that place and you won't go back, fold the leaf the opposite side ( towards the other side ). Usually people will do that in the funeral ( makes sense also... who wanna always eat at the same family's funeral? It is like cursing the family. Hehe )

There, everyone fold it towards themself meaning they will come to this restaurant again. Hehe.

Family photo!!

Paul will be leaving on a secret mission. It was kind of dangerous so hope that he will come back safely.

Anyone interested in this place, let me know. OR anyone have other place that they think serve the best food, let me know too. Hehe.

That's all people. Have to continue studying Molecular Biology. All the best for all student taking the test tomorrow. GAMBATEH!! Jogoya buffet this Friday with classmate! BEST!!! Can't hardly wait!
