Taiwan Trip Conclusion

tRiXie : The BBQ buffet is located in Kao Shiong. Can you give me some time to find the exact location. I don't know Chinese, so I don't know the name of the place very well. I will try to find out from my friend. If I know the address and contact number, will let you know. It's better to reserve a table, especially during weekend because the place will be full.

Like I mentioned earlier, I don't know chinese. So I don't know the name of the places very well. The places name in my itenary might be wrong :p If you want to know more, read my previous post or send me an e-mail at love_applecrush@hotmail.com

Day 1 : Reach Taiwan and went straight to motel at Taipei. It's a walking distance from Taipower Building MRT station. Went to Xi Men Ding for dinner and light shopping.

Day 2 : Visited Taiwan Zoo in the morning till early evening. Went to a night market that I totally have no idea what the name is for shopping and dinner.

Day 3 : Went for Japanese buffet lunch and walked around the shopping centre near Taipei 101. Went to Taipei 101. Headed to Shihlin Night market for shopping and dinner.

Day 4 : Went to Kee Lung for sight-seeing and food shopping. Spent the whole day there.

Day 5 : Went to Leofoo Village Amusement Park. Spent the whole morning and afternoon there. Went back to Xi Men Ding in the evening for dinner and some shopping. Took the night bus to Kao Shiong.

Day 6 : Went shopping around Kao Shiong. Had buffet steamboat dinner.

Day 7 : Went to Ken Ting. Stayed in a gorgeous hotel. Visited the night market along the main street. Play fireworks at the beach.

Day 8 : Went for water sports activity. Headed back to Kao Shiong in the afternoon. Had a simple but yummy dinner.

Day 9 : Headed to Dream Mall to visit the ferris wheel. Did some shopping there. Headed to the buffet BBQ dinner in the evening.

Day 10 : Took the morning fast train back to Tao Yuan for our flight back home.

I finally finished blogging about my Taiwan trip. It was one of the memorable trip. Shopping was great. Food, well I do have to agree Kao Shiong have better food. Besides that, I prefer to shop in Kao Shiong more than Taipei. It's kind of weird cause people always prefer Taipei more.

Souveniers for my friends, sis and myself as well. The 2 cute face masks are for David. He's the only one who told me what he wants as souvenier. Smart guy eh :) The Snoopy key chain is for TW. Actually we're supposed to visit one Snoopy store but the plan was canceled due to rain. If I got her something from Woodstock, she would be happier.

The t shirts that I got for myself. The two Mickey shirts are from Mini Mickey series. They are really cute. Each character is wearing braces :p Haha.

Clothes that I got from the night market. They are really really cheap and pretty. Exactly what I wanted. The beach pants are the ones that I mentioned who are really comfy. Bought 4 dresses from the night market. They are really really pretty and cheap as well :) happy happy :)

New addition to my bag family. Meet Nine West and Guess :) Both of them are really cheap. Both are on 50% off. I can't get the bag from here with that price okay :p Especially the Nine West one. It can be use as a sling bag too :p

Like Singapore trip, I bought perfume as well this time. My Roxy beach perfume is running low, so bought a new one in Taiwan. It's cheaper over there. The DKNY apple is a new release. The smaller one is a free gift, gave it to Calvin. I bought him Sean Jean perfume and I can't find it here in Malaysia. It smells really really really good. The Harajuku perfume is from Gwen Stefani. The smaller ones are free gift. The one in yellow smells exactly like eating pineapple. I'm not kidding~~

Both of them are my current favourite smell. The Harajuku one is actually very very pretty and smells really good. Love it very much. I now have 7 perfumes, one for each day of the week :) Hehe.
Post Taiwan events coming very soon :)

Sorry for the late update. Have been quite busy lately. Hopefully things will slow down just a little soon. 4 important events, 1 down and 3 more to go. Yippie :)

Let's talk about... well, food again. Haha. Sorry for the constant food updates because nothing much worth gossiping lately except Victoria Beckham will be replacing Paula Abdul in American Idol. Although I'm not a fan of the show but it sure will be weird without Paula sitting in the middle of Randy and Simon. She's always the nice judge....

Anyway, enough of drifting off topic. Paid The Cave a second visit. This time is for dinner, the first time was for drinks with friends :) The menu, well, can consider 90% western food. They do serve some Japanese food though, mostly sashimi. Definitely not my type :(

Calvin's chicken burger with standing salad. Haha. Serious, the chef arranged the lettuce standing on the bowl. It's really cute. Hehe. This has to be the least amount of fries found on a western food that I ever had. The burger, well, the chicken patty tasted like minced chicken meat with internal organ. Ewww.... but then Calvin said it's pure chicken meat. Oh well, my wrong :p On the top left is his drink. Tasted EXACTLY like iced milo!! Hahaha.

This is my lasagne. It's really really nice. Especially the slightly burned side. Hehe. Well, as usual, I ordered the food from heaven, again :p But my drink.. ughh, disgusting. It's something like a mixture of sprite with some other stuff that tasted like ... sour longkang water. Serious!! It's really really sour.

Since both of us were full at the end of the meal that night, we did not order any dessert. Furthermore, when we passed by the dessert fridge, nothing looks tempting. Just normal cakes. I think most of them were cheese cakes. Oh well ....

Then he's off to Bali for like forever!! Haha. No no no. Just (wahhh I can't imagine I used the word "just") 4 days 3 nights.... Okay. Let's skip the drama part. Haha.

We went out yesterday. Talked a lot about his trip to Bali and my "holiday" in KL. Haha. I was on a mission to search for the most simple yet comfy flats for my upcoming trip. I went to Mid Valley with Tsuey Wenn the other day. We walked the whole Mid Valley plus The Gardens and nothing.. I repeat.... NOTHING matches my description of "simple yet comfy but pretty" for a pair of flats that is worth me paying for it. BUT... when I entered Charles and Keith, I saw the most pretty bag ever. I held the bag and showed it to Tsuey Wenn while saying "very pretty, very pretty, very pretty, very pretty". Seriously, it really is pretty. REALLY. PRETTY. I wanted to add it to my bag family but decided to say no. I'm looking for a pair of flats, remember? *determined face* I will not simply shop for unnecessary items before my upcoming trip because I planned to shop till crazy there. Can you imagine, me, the me as in me, did not shop for since May. DID. NOT. SHOP. This will be my proudest achievement in my life so far. Haha. But the evil Tsuey Wenn tried to tempt me into buying the bag. She likes the bag too. I don't mind if the both of us bought the exact same bag since both of us used the same wallet. Haha. But no, I did not get the back *sad face* I saw the bag again in Sunway and pointed it out to Calvin. He said it's nice as well okay *depressed face* AHHHHH... I want that bag so so so so much that I am willing to eat the fish from hell. That is how much I wanted the bag. Seriously, it's very pretty.

Okay. Shall not drift away from topic again. Since I hate brunch yesterday while he had breakfast (gosh, he is so healthy.... tsk tsk tsk), I just admired him eating at The Popeyes. He had some boneless chicken which tasted quite nice but the fried batter is absolutely tasteless. The mashed potato is really really absolutely delicious. The coleslaw has this weird taste that I don't know how to describe.

After walking around, I told him that I'm hungry. Haha. Since it's nearly dinner time, he suggested something light. We passed by this dessert stall earlier. So we went back to the same stall. It's called My Honeymoon Dessert. They have nearly 70 different types of dessert. We had a tough time choosing what to order.

This is what I ordered. The black colour is Marble Soy Bean Curd while the white one, well, the normal bean curd. The marble one tasted a bit like... marble. At the end of the meal, I told Calvin my tongue tasted really sandy, really like eating marble. Hahaha. Serious. And for the first time in my entire life, I think that the tau fu fa water tasted really good. Calvin found it really weird and hilarious. Haha.

This is what he ordered. Something like helly with aloe vera and coconut milk. So so only :) okay la, not bad but not too good either. He thought it's something like ice blended but actually it's just served cold. Haha.

After that, we headed straight to Sakae Sushi for dinner. I wanted Japanese food because it's my happy food. Everytime I have Japanese food, I will be really happy because of their presentation of the food. It's all really pretty and nearly all of them tasted really nice :)

My soft shell crab temaki. The best that I had so far is the one just below my office, Hanazen Japanese Restaurant. Seriously, the set meals in Hanazen isn't really that expensive. Normal price found in Japanese Restaurant. Serious :)

The first thing that I caught my attention when I browsed through the menu while waiting to be seated was duck meat. I found this set on the menu that comes along with tempura and my favourite taufu. The taufu is really really good. The duck meat, well, a bit too salty. Maybe it's because of the sauce.

Both of us love Unagi so he ordered this for us. It's quite nice but there's something in the middle that's really hard. I thought I broke my tooth. Haha.

His salmon sashimi which he did not order but he still eat it anyway. Haha. I found it a bit ... disturbing ... to eat raw fish. But he said it's really nice. Oh well....

His raw salmon sushi. Nothing to comment since I did not taste it. Haha.

This is really really good. He was having a hard time trying to convince me that the prawn is cooked. Haha. I am very doubtful to put it in my mouth because I don't eat anything raw. The sauce on top is kind of nice though. Okay la, actually this one is really nice. Happy, dear? Hehe.

My chilled baby octopus. My Japanese meal will never be complete without these babies. Before I put them in my mouth, I told Calvin that it's kind of cruel to be eating this little babies because they are still, well, young. But after all the drama and pity, I consumed them happily. Seriously, they are the best appetizer on earth. Really.

Okay. I ended the week with a happy face, satisfied tummy and a pretty bracelet :) thank you dear :)

Bagssssssss

Noticed this on my thigh when changing for work this morning....

Haihhhh.... It will be there for .... I have no idea how long this thing will stay by my side. Haha. Or should I say stay on my thigh. There is another one beneath my knee, which has been with me for like more than 3 month. I got it when I fell down from the stairs below my office. Haha. Both of my legs are filled with my clumsy trophy.

I realised Baby is as clumsy as me too. Both of us have this thingy with stairs :) Like master, like doggy :)

The bags that I ordered from this website have finally arrived!! Thank you Lek Lin :)

I ordered 4 bags in total. One has yet to arrive. I don't remember ordering the big brown bag on the left but sis it is mine... so ... hehe :)

I would like to welcome these nice and cheap (really really cheap) bags to my family. Old bags, I am please to introduce you all to new family members :)

We are all one big happy family. So please be nice to each other okay. I love all of you equally the same okay.
Since 2 of the bags have soft bottom, I went to Lik Soon to get hard cardboard. Have to cut them out according to the bag's size so that the bags will have hard bottom. The bags will look better if I put a lot of stuff into it. I did some shopping at Lik Soon. For those who don't know, Lik Soon is the most famous bookshop in my housing area. It has a wide range of stationaries and books.

Bought a pink folder so that I can put all those important work related papers into it. Searched high and low for a pink one and finally found this which is still in good condition. Happy happy. The exercise book is for me to write down the hospital contacts. It will be like my ultimate Malaysia's hospital directory. When it's my turn to reply e-mail, this book will be my best working companion. Will fill it with hospital contacts (telephone number, fax number, which department to look for), insurance company contacts (which department to look for and who to look for) and other important notes :) too bad I can't get the book in colour though. I choosed red instead. Hehe.
Got to stop now. Have to start making the bases for my beloved bags.
Ohh, thank you Jullian for the suggestion. Bangsar boutiques did crossed my mind but I need my girls to go with me to give me opinions. Hehe. I can feel another fun outing with them again :) But seriously, I don't know that you know so much about girls stuff :) especially dresses :)

Pre-Chinese New Year

ARGH!!! I am bored. Nothing to do. Sis is currently at Pulau Pangkor working (or relaxing) while I'm in KL doing... nothing. I spent the whole day sleeping yesterday. Woke up at 8 something, breakfast, at 12pm go back to sleep till 6 something. Haha. That is that piggy do best right? I have nothing to do. Lazy to go out cause I know there will be a massive jam since it's a holiday for those who are working in KL. I am supposed to go out with Guan and friends but he woke up at 12pm. Hehe. At that time, I felt really sleepy so I "fly aeroplane" and went to sleep. Hope that he won't do what he said when I "fly" his "aeroplane". Hehe.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today was a happy day for me. I can do what I love the most. HAHA! SHOPPING!!! With Kitt. But the main purpose for the shopping is to buy his Chinese New Year clothes. I think I have enough Chinese New Year clothes. Few tops and pants. Saw one skirt that I love today at Espirit but didn't buy it because will get it at Pavillion since ....... can't tell why I must get it there. Haha. It's a secret. As usual, everytime me and Kitt go 1U, we will have our meal at BBQ Plaza. This place serves great food and the best part is we get to cook the food ourself. I love cooking without... well not in the kitchen type cooking but BBQ, Steamboat or hot plate. Love them so much. I guess I will prepare food in those ways for my future husband and family. Haha. Anyway, when we are walking towards the restaurant, we saw these......

BARBIE DOLLS!!! In wedding gowns. They looked really nice. I think it's for promotion for some jewellery shop which I forgot the name. Haha. But anyway, there are around 4 tables filled with Barbie Dolls in different wedding gowns. All looking so nice and pretty. Hehe.

Look at their faces... so perfect and pretty. But too bad all of them look alike. Maybe in the future they should make Barbie Dolls with different faces. Even their body figures are alike. Big boobs, small waist, big butt and long legs. They are so perfect!!

I spotted this doll with a purple gown. Hopefully you all can notice that the gown is purple in colour instead of black. Haha.

Shopping was fun. I managed to get 2 shirt from Levi's (Kitt pays, of course). Kitt got himself 2 shirts too. One of our shirt are identical to each other but some part are made of different material and both of us took the different colour. The same thing about the 2 shirts is the design. Hehe. This is the first time we have identical shirts but in different colour. It's not the Valentine's shirt that Levi's sell every year. It's just normal shirt. There are actually a few things that we have that are identicals... like our Crumpler bag (same colour but different design), phone, phone number but shirt or clothes... this is really the first time. Hehe. We think that it's a great bargain especially my shirts. So cheap!!! We never expected to get Levi's shirt at this price. Hehe. After that, we went shopping at Watson's. The more we walked around, the more stuff we grabbed. Haha. We did some research about women products too. It was really fun.

At the end of the day, for every purchase we will get angpows from the shop.

Baby admiring the angpows. Hehe. Too bad she can't use them. Inside each angpow is a voucher. 3 is for food while the other one is for jewellery. Haha. Nice nice nice. I'm craving for Nando's all of a sudden :(

Anyway, this is Baby's current look. She went for grooming last week. I trimmed her eye lashes because it is very difficult to see her eyes. I can't be sure if she was looking at me or sleeping when her eye lashes cover her eyes. The bad thing about short eye lashes is she can do the pitiful-puppy-eyes look whenever she needs my attention. Haha.

I noticed certain brands use cloth bag instead of plastic or paper bags. Maybe it's more environment friendly and the cloth bag can be re-use. Kitt bought a pair of slippers from Crocs today and their bag is so nice. According to the sales person, their cloth bag is according to season. I wonder what is the current season.... Haha.

Today, I found out that the world is REALLY, REALLY, really very small. Kitt's friend, Lauren, is actually Mei Yee's cousin. She told me today when we passed her the movie tickets. Actually a few of Kitt's friends are my friend's friend too. Like Gabriel and Keen Seng. Hehe. It really links into a big network. Haha. There are other "links" too but I don't think it's nice to mention it here. Hehe.

I hope that off of you enjoy preparing for the Chinese New Year as much as I do. Well, by preparation I mean shopping. Haha. Hopefully Guan and geng managed to get something yesterday or else they will be running naked during Chinese New Year. Luckily their hometown is in Malacca. Haha.

Sis, faster come back la. I'm bored at home..... Mushrooms are growing on me!!!!
