My last fishing trip :(

Went for fishing trip with Kitt-y and friends. And at the end of the day, mum told me not to follow Kitt-y for fishing anymore :( Well, let's start off with the happy day then only go to the sad part okay?


My place for the day. We changed fishing place because the owner decided to move to another area where there will be bigger ponds. Hence, he moved all the bigger fishes into this pond first. Hence, less big tree for shady hiding place for me :(



I hide under these bamboo trees instead. Wait, are these bamboo or something else? I have no idea. I classify all of these bamboo lookalike plants as bamboo. Haha. Never see such green colour bamboo.


Behind the pond were smaller man-made ponds. In one of the pond, there were a few tortoises.






No photos of fishes because THEY DID NOT CATCH ANY FISH!! We reached there around 9 in the morning. Somewhere around 2 or 3 pm, it started to drizzle. I packed my things and waited for them to go home. Then I was told by Kitt-y, "We are not leaving". OMG! How can? It's raining. Yeah, just a little but what if suddenly got thunderstorm and stuff like that? Dangerous neh? Luckily I drove my own car that day so I could go home myself. They stayed while me, Cass and RenYi went back to their Semenyih house. Hence, it was fishing (without fish) the morning session and internet at Semenyih the afternoon session. Haha.


Fast forward....

When I reached home, it was already 8 pm. I thought "Shit, mummy is going to kill me". But when I entered my house, the first thing she said was "Next time cannot follow Kitt go fishing anymore". I said "okay", then I rushed up. I thought she will give me a lecture but when I reached upstairs and waited at the top for a while, she didn't say anything else. I was thinking, THANK GOD!!! Okay. Supposed to be sad but then...

1. Realised that my skin is getting darker from fishing. :(
2. Realised that it's harder to get fishes each time. :(
3. You will get all sweaty and smelly. :( :(
4. When you don't get fishes, it's very super boring. :( :( :( :( :(

Conclusion: No more fishing to me. Haha.

But I still don't know the reason behind the no-fishing thinggy. I have no idea why cannot go for fishing. Cause of ghost? Water spirit? Water monster? Water soul? Offend pond god? Bad for health??? Haha. Tell me if you know. Please. I really need to know why.

Rachel: That is the first time of me drinking ginseng soup Korean style so I don't know got rice. Will ask them not to put it next time. Oh really? Which one? Okay. Go together next time then :p
Darren: Ohhh... ic ic. I thought it's a bar. Haha.
Waileng: I thought u say want porridge steamboat? Since she loves porridge. Korean also can but might be quite expensive la. Depends on what you order. I'm fine with both. Ask opinion from others bah :p




My second fishing trip, which was long long time ago, was way better than the first fishing trip. Caught a lot of fishes :p Happy happy!!! Some funny thing happened too!!!


First fish of the day was by Chung Siew. See.... the fish is trying to escape and in a panic state. Haha.

Tadaa.. out from the water, take photo and released back into the water.... all done in a flash to ensure that the fish won't die. Haha.

A grasshopper landed on my jeans. Haha. Seriously, I don't know that grasshopper can fly. I thought they can only hop, from the name. Haha.

Fishing team for the day consist of me, Kitt-y, Kinn-y, CS, Chai and Mao. All very busy ... waiting for the fish to eat their bait. Haha.

Notice the fishes? Those thinggy on the water surface are actually fishes putting their mouth up on the surface water to ..... I have no idea what is the purpose of doing that. You know why??

Kinn-y went to the opposite send... and caught a small fish. Haha.

See... it's really small :p

Mao "accidently" caught a fish. I used the word accidently because he was rolling his bait back to him cause he thought the bait was gone. Then suddenly, the fish bite the bait and.... taddaaaaa.....

Happy Mao with his fish. Please pay attention to his fishing rod. It's new... and will be mentioned later....

Another fish by .... hmmm no idea. I forgot.

Then the owner of the fishing ponds came over and gave us some tips on how to tie the hook properly, what bait to use and showed one amazing trick where he throw a special hook out and rolled it in. The hook will stick to any part of the fish that it pass by. Hence, you can use that technique to catch any fish.

He used Mao's fishing rod to test it. Mao's fishing rod is just 1 day old. He bought it brand new the day before. I think it's rm 200 or 300 plus. Everyone was watching as the boss throw and roll it in..... Then suddenly... the hook must have hit a big big big fish till the whole rod broke into few portions and flew directly into the pond. What is left is only the thing to roll the string in. Others went straight into the water. Everyone was.... OMG!!! Then the boss say, I don't guarantee one ah, or something like that. Which means that he will not pay for the loss. But then the most expensive part of the rod is the thing to roll the string in. The other part of the fishing rod is around Rm 60 or 70 only. So, it's not that painful but still, a bit painful.

The boss took his fishing rod and try to "catch" other part of the rod back. Suddenly......

Tada....... A big fish was caught. They called it Brabu or.. something like that. Another name will be (a place in Indonesia) Cat fish. Haha...

See... the fish is really big. Kind of scary, if you ask me. Looks like monster....

Then it was time to go for the fish... bye bye...

All of these are different fishes caught by ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME!! Hehe. Since my fishing rod is the smallest, I can only catch those small fish that is at the side. Name of the fish is 9 Lines (directly translated from Cantonese). All 3 are caught at different time okay. I caught a few more but didn't take photo of them since they are all the same. I think I caught around 7 same fishes that day at different spot and different time. Haha. Quantity winner = ME ME ME ME ME ME. But Quality winner is...... will be announced later. Haha.



They said this is Piranha. You know, the fish that eat meat. Haha. Caught by CS. Take note of those sharp teeth on the side. Scary!!

This, my friend, is the most fishing mistakes that all of us made that day. When we throw our bait out, it will be stuck to the tree. Haha. I thought I'm the only one that be making all these mistakes but everyone did the same thing. I'm not that bad afterall, eh? Hehe.

Okay. The winner of Quality section is.....

Kitt-y. That is the one and only fish he caught that day. You can see from the colour of the photo that it's evening that time. The sun is going down. We reached there at 8 in the morning and Kitt-y first and only fish is at 4 or 5pm. Haha. But I'm happy for him. At least he caught a fish and it's really a big fish. Hehe.

That's the end of my second fishing trip. Promised myself will not go fishing before my exam ends. So sad :(

Today was the first day of exam for us. First paper is Oncology. Not bad.. not too hard and some questions are quite hard. Have no idea what the question is asking and no idea what to answer. But i wrote a lot of thing (except those that ask you list or state) for each questions. Hehe. *pat my self on the back* Good job. Hope that all the following papers, esepcially Pharmacology will be easy. Pray really hard and also study even harder!!! Good luck, ppl.. All the best!!

First fishing trip

Canice : Thanks mui. Aiyo, where got more lovely *shy* still the same la *shy*. Just remember to invite me and Kitt to your wedding ya :) Hehe
Chuanguan : Please lor, after so much advices from my mother, I "think" I'm wiser edi. Unless there are some new methods that my mom never heard of and didn't mention to me at all la :) Haha. You watch out la. One day I will cheat you back. HOHOHOHO!!





What will you do if your female dog is having period? Put on sanitary pads for her? Even though the human one has wings, I don't think it can fit because my dog don't wear undies. Haha. So... at first we do this......











Baby pampers. HAHAHAHAHA! This is the pants version of pampers and it's XL size. Kitt-y did some modification on the pampers after this photo was taken where he tie the upper part using a rubber band to tighten the "pants" because without doing that, the "pants" keep falling down. Haha. It was so funny but at least Baby does not has to stay 24/7 inside the cage. She's free again.





The next day, I went to the pet shop to purchase something that was meant for dogs. Haha. Must care for Baby's feelings too you know. So I bought her this erm.."thing"...

It's made of erm, plastic I think. Inside, there's a compartment where you can insert a tissue for the blood and you can change it from time to time. There is a hole on it for the tail and the size is just right so it will not drop. Just have to take it off once in a while to let her pee/shit. Hehe. Reuseable and environment friendly. Haha.

Last week, I went fishing. YES!! FISHING!! HO YICK HUI WENT FISHING!! When I told Cindy and just now TW, both are shocked. Haha. Cindy even prepared a list of what things I should bring along. But I read the message after the fishing trip la dear. Haha. But most of the things that you mentioned, I did brought them along :P except the chair la. I don't know where to find a chair to fit into the car leh. But there are benches there under a shady tree. So it's quite okay actually. Way better than I expected.

This place it's actually a fishing centre? I have no idea what it is called. It's a place where people pay to fish there. It's in Semenyih, very near to Kitt-y's uni. 6 of us went there in the morning. We stayed there until 6 in the evening where only me, Kinn-y and Kitt-y/Mun Kent managed to catch one fish each. Chung Siew and Chai makan "pak kor". Haha.

There were around 3 to 4 ponds there, each with different rates. We took the one for whole day fishing. There were ponds that are for hourly fishing session. Hehe. First time heard such things. Unlike other fishing ponds, this one is really surrounded by forest, hence you feel like as in you're fishing in some forest with big ponds. Haha.

Kinn-y was the first person that caught a fish. His catch was really quick. Around 30 minutes after our arrival. Hehe.

Initially, my first job was to toss bread to the pond to send a signal to those fishes that "got food got food, come nearer come nearer". Or at least come nearer to the site where we throw our bait. I think I threw too much bread out till most of the fishes are full and none ate the bait. Even if they ate the bread, they managed to eat the bread without being stuck to the hook. Clever fish. The last time Kitt-y went there, he managed to catch at least 5 to 6 fishes in one day. But this time, we only managed to get 3, and those are the parliar fishes. Haha.

Second fish for the day was by Kitt-y and Mun Kent.

I have no idea what that fish is called. Hehe.

A fish spotted on the other pond circling around the bread that I threw. Kitt-y said it's their strategy to test if the bread is safe to eat or just a bait. Haha. Clever fishy ehh.

This the fish that I caught. Haha. I had the honoured of reeling the fish in and someone clipped the mouth with that thing and put it on the weighing machine. Haha.

Not that heavy and it's just a small fish. Haha. But it's my first catch during my first fishing trip. Better than Chai okay. Went home with nothing. Haha.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that after you catch a fish, you have to release it. If you fish at the other pond, you can bring it home. But not for our pond. So it's sort of catch and release thinggy. Hehe.

That's the end of my first fishing trip. At the end of the day, I was sun burnt and red. Haha. It was a fun experience and will sure to go for another fishing trip. Hehe.
